As an alumnus, explore opportunities to mentor current students, participate in alumni events, stay up to date on department developments via social media and the department newsletter, and give back to the department. 


Give to BSE

When you give to BSE, you're making a direct impact on our students and faculty. All gifts we receive help fund student groups, scholarships, study abroad programs, conference registration for students, lab equipment, and more: 

  • A $50 gift supports purchasing equiment for 24 students enrolled in our Unit Operations Lab
  • A $100 gift supports, prepares, and sponsors one of our students to take the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, a notable first step in becoming a licensed professional engineer
  • A $300 gift covers registration, transportation, and lodging costs for a student to attend a local or regional meeting of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), which is chock-full of opportunities to interact with students, network with industry professionals, and discover career opportunities 
  • A $500 gift funds the supplies and materials needed by one of our senior design teams to create innovative solutions to engineering challenges as part of their capstone course
  • A $1,000 gift funds internal and external collaborations with industry partners and faculty, giving students a hands-on experience during their time in the department.
