Industry and Research Partnerships
Connecting Pathways to Partnerships
We are committed to translating our research and expertise into pathways that benefit the engineering industry, academia, and students alike. There are a number of ways to connect with us.
Experiential learning is key throughout our programs, and it's collaborations with partners that make it possible. From guest lecturing about industry experience, to inviting students to tour facilities to give a hands-on look. To inquire about educational partnership opportunities, contact Jon Czuba, associate department head for undergraduate studies
Throughout their time in the department, students do some level of experimental learning, such as internships or co-ops. Companies that commonly recruit and employ our students are WithersRavenel, Wildlands Engineering, Mars-Wrigley, AstraZeneca etc. To set up a recruiting visit, contact Priscilla Baker, undergraduate academic and career advisor.
Our programs are crafted to prepare students for success in positions across a spectrum of engineering fields and industries. As a result, our alumni are an important bridge between academia and industry. Whether you are an academic researcher, work for any international company, hold any position in the engineering industry, have an unconventional route to engineering, or own your own business, your experiences and insights are invaluable to our students. As an alumnus, there are a variety of ways that you can strengthen our students' education. Explore opportunities to mentor current students, guest lecture, offer site visits, or make a monetary gift. To explore opportunities for students, contact Priscilla Baker, undergraduate academic and career advisor.
Our commitment to our land grant mission drives us to share the wealth of knowledge generated through our research for the greater good of our communities. Explore our extension page to find publications, online courses, published research, trainings, and more on an array of topics
