Focus: Hydrological modeling

Amirreza employs the Soil & Water Assessment Tool Plus (SWAT+) to model the New York City (NYC) watershed, aiming to quantify the water quality impacts of enhanced manure management practices. The study has two primary objectives: first, to develop a coupled variable source area hydrology and water quality model; and second, to evaluate the short- and long-term effects of improved nutrient management on nutrient losses at both field and watershed scales.
