Jonathan Czuba

Focus: Sediment Transport, Hydro-acoustics, Complex River Network Connectivity and Characteristics.

A part of Sadia's ongoing research focuses on improving suspended sediment distribution predictions with down-looking Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) across different river systems, for variable flow and sediment conditions.

Another part of her current research focuses on understanding complex multi-threaded river network connectivity and their characteristics by using different approaches (e.g., topological, ML-based, modeling, etc.). This analysis will be utilized to better understand sediment and nutrition partitioning as well as the impacts of vegetation/cropping patterns on agricultural soil erosion in complex multi-threaded floodplain network systems.
