Watershed Monitoring Laboratory

The Watershed Monitoring Laboratory serves as a staging area for watershed monitoring activities, including equipment setup, calibration, and repair, as well as sample preparation and storage.  The lab has equipment for standard physical soil tests, such as bulk density, specific gravity, and particle size analysis

Laboratory Equipment

  • Walk-in cooler and freezer sample storage
  • Vacuum filtration system
  • Campbell Scientific dataloggers and environmental sensors
  • Vapor 35 UAV with Yellowscan Surveyor lidar system
  • Mavic Pro UAV with 4K camera
  • Teledyne ISCO 6712 water samplers and flow modules
