This pathway focuses on restoring stream and wetland ecosystems and designing treatment and management practices to reduce pollution in both urban and rural areas. Environmental health engineers identify environmental hazards and design systems-based solutions that are best suited to specific physical, ecological, and socio-economic circumstances.
