Sarah Leach

Sarah Leach, from Charlottesville, Virginia is a Junior majoring in BSE. She is following the Ecological track while minoring in Green Engineering. Sarah hopes to get a Master of Science and possibly pursue a Ph.D. She is passionate about the environment and helping communites, especially coastal communities.

Sarah has worked with a public school system on entering data for formative and summative assessments. She also spends her summers nannying and coaching young athletes. During the school year, Sarah competes for the Virginia Tech Cross Country and Track programs.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys writing and composing music. She also loves taking care of animals including her family’s dog and two cats. You could also find her swimming at McComas and riding her bike around campus. Sarah is excited to share her outgoing self with you and help you explore the BSE major!
