Adrianna Rossetti

Adrianna Rossetti is a senior in BSE from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a focus in Ecological Engineering and a minor in Green Engineering. She is passionate about water quality, stream restoration, stormwater management, and sustainable agriculture.

Sophomore year, she assisted with data collection in Dr. White’s Ruminant Nutrition & Sustainable Agriculture lab on projects using biosensors for robotic pasture management, equine heart rate monitors, and a diet-based rumen sensing trial. Since her junior year, she has assisted in Dr. Bell’s Ecological Engineering Lab where she has previously aided in a project that used bioreactors to denitrify groundwater. This past summer she worked as a Civil Engineering intern at Miller-Stephenson & Associates P.C. in the land development department.

Adrianna is pursuing a career in Environmental Engineering where she can be a part of nature-based solutions that protect ecological health and eventually become a licensed professional engineer. In her free time, she enjoys skiing and snowboarding, hiking, attending group exercise classes, reading, and fishing. Adrianna wanted to serve as a mentor for incoming BSE students because of the extremely helpful guidance she received from her BSE mentor. She is so excited to share all that the BSE department has to offer and how to take advantage of it!
