Jaiden Shah
Jaiden Shah is a senior in BSE from Rockville, Maryland with a focus in Biotech. He hopes to use his degree to use advancements in technology and engineering, and apply it to the medical field. Jaiden has done work with Climbable, a nonprofit focused on introducing wounded veterans into the climbing community, many of whom have physical disabilities. His hope is to make sports more accessible to those with physical disabilities or impairments. In the past,
Jaiden has worked at Axion Biosystems, a biomedical engineering company based out of Atlanta, Georgia. While working there, he was a part of the Research and Development team, working on a prototype for a new biomedical testing device.
At Virginia Tech, Jaiden is the President of the Engineering Volleyball League. His goal with the league is to make it a welcoming place for all engineers to relieve stress during the school year.
Upon graduation, Jaiden hopes to continue to share his love for sports and make it more accessible for others, especially those with physical limitations. Jaiden enjoys spending his free time by playing sports, primarily volleyball and rock climbing.
Jaiden is grateful for the BSE program, and happy to help you and answer any questions you may have.
